Before I go to bed…AWESOME!
Okay, so most of you ( I think; I don’t actually know if anyone reads this blog…>.>;; ) know that I designed the House of Awesome emblem for Whompy because he’s spiffy cool, and the House is too!
Anyway, a video was posted on YouTube of the Peoria Yule Ball, and I was all, “hey, I’ll watch that, ‘cuz Whompy’s pretty neat.”
About three minutes into the video, Matt’s talking about the House of Awesome, and the camera zooms in on these three girls that printed out the HoA patch and taped it to their shirts!
I was shocked, amazed, and REALLY hyper when I saw this.
To you three girls, whoever you are: you have made my year.
I shall love you forever.
No, seriously.
I will.
You just watch me.

I’m a little late in posting this here, but…FAWM!
FAWM stands for February Album Writing Month, and guess what your lovely grey ladies are doing?
That’s right, we’re going to be writing our tails off to write 14 songs in 28 days!

We already have several songs planned to write, and will be kicking off February with a bang!
We’re going to try for a Valentine’s Day song, but I don’t know if we’ll have time to record it before the fact…

New Band Member!
That’s right, The Grey Ladies now have a guitar player!
Her name’s Jodi, and she’s pretty awesome; Sarah, Jodi, and I did a sort of mini-practise in 8th period today, and while it’s still a tad rusty, we’re workin’ on it!

The next step is to see what Amy has 8th, ‘cuz Sarah, Jodi, and I all have the same class then, so we could jam if she’s free then…
Hmmm…

I’m getting new glasses!

See, I had glasses before, but I kinda accidentally lost them in Bristol the first week we were in England…
I only just told my mum about it a week ago.

I think we’re going to simply call this song “Hogwarts”, unless Amy and Sarah have something more original to name it.
Credits go to Guen of Gred and Forge for helping me with one of the verses that I just couldn’t figure out how to write, and to Jon Denver, for the melody and such of Country Roads, one of my favourite West Virginia songs, and one of the one things that makes me feel truly patriotic to my state.
I based the song off of Country Roads.

The Whomping Willows (and possibly Brian of Draco and the Malfoys) will be coming down to Morgantown, WV to do a show, and they want us to do it with them!
This, of course, means that we actually need to be writing songs now!
